Review
Reflections is deceptive collection of early Neil Diamond from Madacy; it’s really just a two-fer featuring 1968’s Velvet Gloves And Spit and 1973’s Rainbow. Velvet Gloves And Spit is the better of the two, boasting three of his best tracks, “Shiloh,” “Brooklyn Roads,” and “Two-Bit Manchild,” while Rainbow is a mediocre set of covers. Both discs are the original MCA releases and are not remastered.
